It's gonna be embarassing losing the Winter Classic 0-9.

This team is so flawed in construction. Carlyle's looking like just another Burke stooge.

1-3-1 Where's the coach bounce?

It's also apparently really hard to make and receive passes for this team.
This is getting ridiculous.
Actually Max Talbot falls down more than the entire Leafs team every game.

Kessel missing lupul obviously. Lupes would always go in and dig those pucks out and fight for it. Man up *****.

Everybody start praying for a top 5 pick.

We are much better defensively tho. Goals will come eventually. It's impossible not to score at all for 82 games.

I actually laughed reading your post.

I think it's fantastic that the wheels came off so late in the season. This would have been unbearable had it started in the first half of the season.

burke already said he doesnt expect any "drastic changes" with the new coach, it was more to do with "salvage" this season and look forward to next year

The shift to a more defensively responsible game and the total lack of production (coupled with the Lupul injury) kind of shows us what this team would have struggled with had Wilson not pushed for the run and gun. Without that top line centerman, the Leafs have trouble breaking down the opposition without trading chance for chance. You have two gaping deficiencies and you basically pick your poison: play a tighter defensive game and sacrifice offense, or play run and gun and look horrible defensively.

Whoa, is it too much to ask for your most skilled player to step up in such a crucial game? Didn't even have to score.
