Alfie is more like 5'9'' too but he's grotesquely jacked.

Prince looked as big and tall as Ryan Strome at the game last Friday. He definitely does not look like a short player.

Silfverberg was OK in the first QF against Frölunda, who always played a defensive line with Sjöström, PJ Axelsson & his kid brother against Silfverberg & Järnkrok... And yup, another point and a crazy crowd. Good day for him and his club.

Prospect results - Sunday March 11/12

CHL

WHL

D Jordan Fransoo has no points and is even so far for the Victoria Royals as they trail the Vancouver Giants 1-0 through 1 period.

OHL

RW Stefan Noesen had 2 goals and an assist - all on the powerplay - and was -1 for the Plymouth Whalers in a 4-3 win over the Owen Sound Attack. The goals were Noesen's 36th and 37th goals of the season.

LW Shane Prince had a goal, an assist, 2 PIMS and was even on the night for the Ottawa 67's in a 6-3 loss to the Mississauga St. Michaels Majors. The goal was Prince's 42nd of the season.

*Prince and Noesen are now 4th and 9th in goals and 5th and 13 in overall scoring respectively.

QMJHL

C Jean-Gabriel Pageau had a powerplay assist, 2 PIMS and was -1 for the Chicoutimi Sagueneens in a 5-3 loss to the Victoriaville Tigres.

NCAA

CCHA

D Chris Wideman is the only remaining Senators CCHA prospect playing as LW Jeff Costello and his Notre Dame Fighting Irish were eliminated from the CCHA tournament yesterday. The winner of today's Game 3 between Ferris State and Bowling Green will play Wideman and the Miami RedHawks in the semis.

ECAC

LW Brad Peltz was again out of the lineup for Yale in their Game 3 against Harvard. Probably wouldn't have mattered as Yale is currently down 6-2 with about 10 minutes to go in the 3rd. With D Michael Sdao also out, looks like the Sens' ECAC prospects are done for the year.

WCHA

Nebraska-Omaha was elimiated from the WCHA tournament yesterday so D Bryce Aneloski's season is done. Ben Blood and the North Dakota Fighting Sioux advanced yesterday over Bemidji State so Blood is still in.

Damn, great drafting by Murray. Prince has been tearing it up all season and Noesen has been on fire lately.

Appreciate the summary. I really like Aneloski as a sleeper prospect.

He's had a good season in the tier 2 league in Sweden....I think he had the highest PPG on his team. There isn't much else to say...he has a good chance to play in Skelleftea next year.

Quite big interview with Silfverberg:
http://arbetarbladet.se/sport/brynas...nte-att-stoppa

Tease...

Here's what our friend google says :

... about playing the Stanley Cup finals with Ottawa on Brynäs go out early - and so say no to World Cup games:

- Ottawa has not actually said anything, but I know that Marcus Krüger did this last year (with the Chicago Editor's note). I'd definitely be there. Do I get the chance, I take it, after all it is the world's best league.
