Could have really used a ROW but 2 points is good enough right now.

I don't think Richards ever tried that move with the Flyers. Guess he was working on it.

Awards:
Richards, Carter, Slava, Mitchell, and Quick all had outstanding games IMO. I've never felt that stressed during any game, not even Liverpool's Istanbul Final in 2005. Glad to get out of there with a win, but I'm on empty.

We need to put a little winning streak together now. That was enormous.

Wow,

Refs or not the Hawks were all over the Kings in the third. I think they are just tired, The road trip is long.

Drew with just a terrible game, I wonder if Sutter will have some words about his play.

2 points on to the next one.

Never should have gone to OT. Hawks owe the refs sexual favors for that gift goal and point. Nice to see Quick back on top of the shootout.

For a split second I thought, "Why isn't JMFJ in the shootout?"

2 necessary points. Now on to an attempt to redeem themselves for the Detroit collapse.

8-4-1 in the last 13 to make the playoffs, 10-2-1 in the last 13 to win the division.

I don't know why people think he is some Shootout world beater.

Career wise he is 11 for 42 , and he is like 0 for 10 in the last two years.

Good thing we've pulled through. Another tough loss and the kings/DL bashing that would have followed, we may have lost our Puck U and the beloved GDT.

2 big points! Carter played a solid game after he scored, and more than once tried to win it in regulation. Love his and Richards effort tonight.

Huge 2 points. Big game on Tuesday, time to pay the Wings back.

This is how I see it playing out:

vs Detroit: 2 points
@ Anaheim: 2 points
vs Nashville: 0 points
vs San Jose: 2 points
vs St. Louis: 1 point
@ Boston: 2 points
@ Vancouver: 2 points
@ Calgary: 0 points
@ Edmonton: 2 points
@ Minnesota: 2 points
vs Edmonton: 2 points
vs SJ: 2 points
@ SJ: 0 points

I am smelling a run. Even the 3 seed isn't THAT far out of the picture.

Kinda curious what our record would have been with Carter/Voynov playing every game this year.

I have to say, every game that goes by, VV looks better and better. I'm really impressed by him.
