LOL, it was a girl's hockey game too, what a massive *********. I'll bet you nobody is more embarrassed by this than the idiot dad's daughter. Obviously this is not worth jail time or anything like that, I think the embarrassment is enough, I'll bet you he gets totally ostracized by other parents in the community after this (and rightfully so).

Seriously though, what a ******. Probably the same guy that blinded Kipper or the same guy that **** in an opponents glove (true story).

The guy got off way too easy and the home team should be stripped of the win.

According to the Yahoo article it isn't the first time he's done it. What a moron.

Quote:
This isn't even the first time he's done this. No, he has a history of treating his teenage daughter's hockey games like the final battle in Moonraker.

According to WHDH, this time last year, during a tournament game between Winthrop and Wilmington High, Wilmington's coach complained to officials that a player on his team was having a light shined in her eyes. MIAA officials assured him they had found the culprit and it wouldn't happen again.

But it did happen again, and, this time around, it may have played a role in the final score as Winthrop took on top-ranked Medway-Ashland.

The father began using the laser shortly after Medway scored the game's first goal midway through the third period and, conveniently, the uptick in laser activity coincided with Medway surrendering three straight goals to suffer a major upset to 8th-ranked Winthrop.

Yeah, right? I mean, he did do something that could cause permanent damage to a teen's eyesight on multiple occasions, but hey, the embarrassment should definitely be enough of a deterrent for future acts.

Yes, charges. Those of us who aren't anarchists would like to see repercussions for committing a crime.
