Paul Ranger, a smooth-skating defenseman who left the Lightning in October 2009 to deal with a personal matter and has not returned, is an assistant coach for a bantam team in Whitby, Ontario, his hometown.
The team's head coach is David Branch, for whom Ranger played minor hockey for four years before moving on to the junior Ontario league and then the Lightning, which drafted Ranger in the sixth round in 2002.

Is anybody else here using Mozilla Firefox and experiencing problems with NHL.com?
I have FF 11.0 and the Shockwave Flash plugin is up to date and yet NHL.com is loading sooo slowly and their videos halt every few seconds for a sec or so. It's not my CPU, RAM, etc. or my internet connection and other sites work just fine.
Finally got my laptop back..Wooooo Hooooo! defective hard drive has been replaced.. Woo hoo....Laptop reset back to factory settings..just like right out of the box new...
Spent most of the past two days re-updating, upgrading and agreeing to everything to get my programs up and running..all of which I had already done once.
