Giroux's post-game interview on the exercise bike was kind of strange.

Over the past several games, the Flyers have gotten away with some abysmal defensive-zone breakdowns and coughing the puck up for great scoring chances. Bryzgalov bailed them out numerous times over this stretch. They played a team tonight who capitalized on them.

Was it just me, or did it look like the clutch and grab kings are back?
Edit: nj played solid defensively and positionally, just seemed to be a whole lot of clutching and grabbing too.

The Atlantic are the top 4 in the East. That's amazing.

And one of them will be a 6th seed. The SE division is just pathetic. None of those teams has any business being the 3rd seed, let alone the playoffs at all. Its like the 7-9 Seahawks falling ass backwards into the NFL playoffs in the 2010 season.

So very, very agreed. Although, as it stands Florida and Washington would be #7 and #8 if we went by points. The #3 in the east has a -25 goal differential.

Boston would be #5 by the way.

Funny, I didn't even think that Boston's division was that bad either. I guess because at least Boston is good and Ottawa is decent. It's just amazing to me that Washington has been so bad this season and they still have a decent shot at the #3 seed.

While I get the importance of divisions, I think a division winner should be at least just guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. I think its laughable that the #3 right now is 2 wins behind the current #7. It's really easy to now see why Washington was always one of the top seeds year after year and lost in the first round. When you get to play 24 games against average at best opponents, you are going to rack up some wins in the standings.

i'm a fan of every flyer .... but danny is awful, and has been for a while.

i'll use the avatar for a while after a bad game from him, then give him the next game to give me a reason not to use it.

it does look silly, though ....
