Ive got a problem with the sharks black jerseys. This is along the same lines as sweden banning of the mirror visors. I have never played goal on ice, but it would seem to me that they would easily cause problems for the goalies. (Not only the visiting goalies) I would think that nabakov would have a heck of a time with his defenders in front of him sreening and having the puck blend in with their jerseys. I dont know, maybe im wrong, but i think it would be in the sharks as well as the rest of the goalies best interest to lose the jerseys. I mean their reaction time would have to be alot quicker if it takes them twice as long to see the puck.
teams have had black jerseys in the past, no one had a problem. Dallas used too.. and other teams use black jerseys, i dont see any problem
Yeah i noticed that. But this is the only black jersey w/o stripes around the waist. And the only stripes are on the socks and arms, and they are narrow. Plus most of the emblem is balck. It would be harder to detect movement across it.
And they dont look bad to me at all.
Like, i said i could be wrong. And more than likely i am, because not too many teams have had trouble with it. But just an observation. Thanks for the input.
