Watched EC's 2 goals from tonight. Made them look so effortless. All skill, no heart though. He'll disappear for the next 10 games now.

The one time EC shows up...Minny still loses.

Yeah my point exactly. He didn't return today, and IMO he could have, but I think he felt scared of getting concussed again. Not that the Rangers aren't physical but they don't dish out controversial hits all that often. But they do fight A LOT

Larry Brooks ‏ @NYP_Brooksie

Malkin escapes punishment under Rule 41.71 as follows: "Penguins allowed to do whatever they please to Bruins."

so great. Although I would change that to:
"Penguins allowed to do whatever they want."

People often think of the Bruins and the Flyers as the dirtiest teams in the league, but I think that distinction should go to the Pens. From hits to the head to slewfoots, they are always getting little cheapshots in and hoping no one notices. And they get away with it every damn time because the NHL doesn't have the balls to discipline the Penguins. Look at how long it took them to suspend Matt Cooke.

Hybrid icing (USHL etc) sounds as if it's a potential rule change. Small group of GMs like it. Will take it to full 30-man group tomorrow.

Teams are starting to figure out that the keys to beating NYR is to play former club players or prospects against them.

The Predators could be close to bringing over Radulov for the rest of the season and the playoffs.

Gill, Gaustad, Kostitsyn and Radulov. They have one of, if not the best goalie in the West and the best defensive pair to boot.

Could we be reading about these same names in a "Key additions help Preds to first Cup" article this June? That's a well-coached team as well.

Nashville is overrated in my books. They've only won one playoff series in their franchise history and people are pumping up their tires once again. They'll get bounced by Detroit in the first round, book it.

The players in Rugby games standing next to each other during the anthems is always hilarious.
