KHL regular season games in New York?

KHL to play regular season games in NYork?

Interesting, a European spin on the Premiere classic?

Could work well I think for players hoping to move to the NHL.

Can't hurt anything although I think they should do it in Canada if they want a bigger draw.

They better bring out Vityaz. They have a lot of North American players.

I'm definitely going to check it out. Would love to see how KHL hockey translates on NHL size ice. Hopefully thats how they set up the arena.

It's tough to imagine the games wouldn't sellout. If the KHL can't sellout a special event game in a city of 8 million people then the league can't be doing too well.

I live in Boston, and I'd make the trip if it was on a weekend. And I'm not even Russian...

It seems a lot of NHL fans bash the KHL because they somehow feel threatened by it. As a hockey fan, I'd jump at this opportunity to see them live. Just another experience.

Yeah I live a short train ride away from where the Barclays Center will be and would definitely like to check out a KHL game as long as the ticket prices aren't absurd.

Lots of Russians live in Brooklyn. Don't know about sellouts, but they'll draw a good crowd for sure.

If they make sure to send the best teams they have, I don't see why any genuine fan of hockey wouldn't want to go and see this.

How are they gonna market this if no KHL games are on TV and no English commentaries are available? KHL better step up and at least get the finals on TV.
