GUY BOUCHER:
Quote:
  • "We can't keep this up 'til the end of the year playing (Stammer and Marty) them that many minutes. I have to rely on some other guys...I can't ask more of them. They're giving everything they've got."
RYAN MALONE:
Quote:
  • "I think everybody knows that if we have an OK game, that's not going to cut it. I think everybody knows to be sharp and ready, and we need everybody. Obviously, the (Bruins) are a pretty decent team over there so you don't want to give them any room.''
STEVEN STAMKOS:
Quote:
  • "It's to the point now where these next six home games are almost must-wins. You don't want to look at long stretches of games like that, you want to just focus on the next one, but you realize you have to put a string of wins together just to keep pace with the teams that are winning now. It's been a challenge all year and it hasn't gotten any easier with the past three games, but we have to find a way if we want to stay in and we are going to everything we can."
VICTOR HEDMAN:
Quote:
  • "It's tough for us to try to focus on what is going on around us, we can only focus on what we need to do. We know that we have to go 6-1 on this homestand, win these games we have left here before getting out on the road. We have to keep the same mentality as we had, even if we are down a little bit more than we were before. We just have to keep the focus on ourselves and do the job."

LET'S GO BOLTS!

In case I forgot to mention earlier or you missed it, Dustin Tokarski scheduled to make 3rd consecutive start on Tuesday vs Bruins
The last time we faced the Bruins we won 5 straight. It would be wonderful if we could get on another streak like that again.

Looking forward to the game tonight.

Not looking forward to all the elitist snobs that will be wearing black and yellow in the stands (not all of them are snobs).

Meh- oh well.

GO BOLTS!

Bergeron is questionable with a leg injury and Sauve is out due to a hip injury. Also, no status update on McQuaid.

Trent Whitfield was called up to replace Bergeron if he can't go.

Also, Turco should be starting.

NO! Please start Thomas.. The Bolts always make back-ups look like all-stars.

7-2 Bruins if Turco, 2-1 Bolts if Thomas.

Over/under 10 turnovers from Turco playing the puck?

I'll take the over. Whether we do anything with them or not is another matter.

Bruins are pretty banged up.

I hope for a good game tonight with no injuries.

I really like your team and wish you best of luck except against the B's.

It was a close playoff last year. If you had beat the B's I believe you would have won the cup.

Turco is in net and it looks like Bergeron, Paille and McQuaid may actually play.

I just want a hard fought, INJURY FREE game for both sides.

BTW, Love Marty, Vinny and Stamkos.

Would love to see us on the good side of a blowout before the year is done. We've scored 6 goals in a game twice and nothing more than that. Only a couple games have actually been won by more than 2 goals. So let's see some damn offense!!!

You know, in both cases the Bruins goalie lets 2 shots past him, the only difference is given in how many pucks go past the TBL goalie. But I like your idea of the result, if Turco starts

Any words on, if Labrie might start? I noticed a missing spot in the line-up, could it be filled with him, toughening it up vs the Bruins?

Nice looking GDT, by the way

Labrie is with Norfolk, and if we play 12 forwards Segal will be in. I'm assuming we'll go with 7 D again.

I hate that phrase! Just ready any GDT when a backup is playing and you will find fans for every team saying the same!

So are the Bolts. But the Bolts are pretty much using half an AHL team to make this push. I think the man games lost is around 250 to 260 this year, and Boston is the bottom of the list. Don't quote me on that though.
