If Biron has a poor showing tonight, I expect him to only play one, MAYBE two more for the rest of the year

If Biron has a poor showing tonight, the offense had better bail him out. They've been bailed out enough games by Hank and Marty this season.

Henrik yes....i can't really think of any games Marty bailed the team out of. He's had games where he's played well, but none that come to mind where he stole us a win we didn't deserve...

It should be interesting what MSG has in store in terms of a jumbotron presentation for Sanguinetti's return. Should be pretty emotional.

I can.

We beat Winnipeg 2-1 back in October or November and Biron made some HUGE saves to preserve a win in a game where we had tons of turnovers.

There was that game against WPG on 8/24. On 12/10 vs Buffalo he made 15 saves in a scoreless first. Those are the only ones in which I would say he came up particularly big. Don't think I'd say either of those was a "steal" per se, though.

A couple of games spring to mind. If he doesn't stand on his head and get 30+ saves and a 95+ SV%, we have a tough time beating Buffalo (4-1 win). And then there's Peg back in october, where we were outshout severely(2-1W).

I think we have a shot if the team can maintain some pressure in their zone, take some pressure off of Biron.

Steve Zipay ‏ @stevezipay

Biron in goal, and same NYR lineup as vs. Isles. No Del Zotto, Callahan, Scott, Woywitka

They should rest up. We'll need them on thurs. I'm officially worried about Callahan. His injury is starting to linger.

Of course Sangs is going to play his first game against us. Hopefully he doesn't pull the same **** as P.A.P.

The solution is easy. Cut yourself off from civilization, including your fiance, and sit in your Rangers mancave until the playoffs are done.

As long as these guys don't ice a rookie goalie, we will win.

Hank has 5 more career points than Scott.

Let's keep this thing in regulation for Biron. I don't want him having all that pressure put on him making him crack.

I don't get why they're showing the game both on NBCSN and MSG. Is it the usual NBC crew, or is it the MSG stream?

I'd rather have Johnson in over Biron.

If Hank isn't well on Thursday then play Johnson against the Pens, if Biron sucks again tonight.

Just a hunch: You haven't watched a lot of AHL games this season?

No way Johnson should be in over Biron, even if Biron goes on to play five straight <85SV% games.
