Claiborne has been the guy I've wanted all along, but I doubt he makes it past 5. I think Tampa will take him.
Cleveland is the wildcard now. I'm sure there is strong consideration of taking Blackmon or Richardson at #4 in that organization, but they could get desperate and take Tanehill OR they could trade down to #7 and let Jacksonville take Blackmon and take Tanehill at pick #7. This is one of the most interesting drafts I've seen from a St. Louis perspective.
They already got AJ Green, I think Cleveland takes T Rich but you never know
Bruins fan here but my NFL team is the Rams. Its been tough times I know. That is a nice bounty 3 firsts. I hope the Redskins tank the next 2 years and the trade turns out as good for the Rams as the Kessel one is for the Bruins.
I don't mind the deal, honestly. Football contracts are different than other sports. We don't know how much is guaranteed yet, and if he underperforms, the Rams can cut him.
Don't know about Mizzou's recruits, honestly. They have Bowers coming back next year from injury. You just got a preview of Missouri sports. We are notorious for choking in big games. It's akin to being a Blues fan really.
Mizzou has a bunch of lower ranked recruits, but some bigger transfers coming in. Brown was a 5-star recruit for Oregon, but will play for us 2nd semester next season. We will have Phil Pressey, Dixon, and Bowers back, and a few veteran transfers. We should be solid. Might still be a pretty good team depending on how the transfers play.
At least Duke will be joining us in the land of WTF.
Rams signed Scott Wells today. That is a massive upgrade and reasonably price too at only 6 mil a year
I'm excited about their signings. Improving the C position would be huge. Jason Brown was a waste last year. I wonder if we'll take a RT in the draft or try to find one in FA.
Rams continued making smart, under-the-radar moves today. Signed DE/DT Kendall Langford to a four year deal, 24 million dollar deal. Excellent run defender, something the Rams could desperately use lol
49ers fan here, coming in peace. First of all, great trade you guys made with the #2 overall pick. Jaw-dropping return. In all the mock drafts I've been seeing, Trent Richardson has been drafted either at 4 or at 5, leaving either Claiborne or (usually) Blackmon available at 6. This is obviously great for the Rams, as either one would be an amazing pick. My question is what happens if Richardson isn't picked, and both Claiborne and Blackmon are gone (in addition to Luck, RG3, and Kalil).
I haven't seen a single mock draft where this happened, so I don't even know if it could happen, but what would the Rams do in that case? Take Richardson? Trade the pick? Is there someone else they'd go after?

We will draft Richardson, as Jackson won't have too long left. We will take Blackmon, Claiborne, Kalil, or Richardson, whoever is left. I think any of the DTs would be a stretch. I wouldn't take Floyd at 6, as we can get a pretty good WR in the 2nd.

I hope we would take Richardson, like the poster above said, SJ39 cant keep it up for too much longer and you cant pass up a talent like TRich. But with the Rams history of drafting who the hell knows what they will do.
TR would be tough to pass up for Fisher, but I could see the Rams taking Brockers with their pick, honestly. They'd probably like a guy like Brockers after another trade down, but I don't think their draft position dictates another trade down.
Right, what are the expectations of the Cardinals this season?
Mine aren't all that high, but that is generally when we have the best years I think we miss the postseason, but Matheny has a solid enough first year.
Westbrook is certainly interesting after losing weight and putting up the numbers he did in spring training. Even with TLR gone, our line up seems like it will be as patchwork as always.

I think we can definately win the division, its really weak. Brewers dont really scare me, Reds do a little bit but their pitching isnt all that great even with Latos, he is a fly ball pitcher in a small park. I think injuries could be a big problem for us though, as long as we can stay healthy I think we can win the division but I dont see us making a run like last year though.
The other teams in the Central didn't get any better, and if Freese stays healthy, you could make an argument that we got better or at least stayed the same. Having Wainwright back will be huge.

If we stay healthy, then we win the Division. I just don't see it though. I hope Carp proves me wrong, but I think he'll just move between one niggling injury to another.
Reading the Spring training reports, sounds like a few prospects are getting close to making the step up. Hopefully at least one will take a chance they will undoubtedly get in the next few months.
Is anyone else feel like St. Louis Cardinal fans are becoming Cleveland Cavalier fan-like?
Also if it was up to me on the Rams....
Say the first five picks of the draft go Luck, RGIII, Kalil, Blackmon, Claiborne, I would trade down to maybe 11 to a team like Kansas City who would trade up for Tannehill.
We pick up their second round pick this year and take David DeCastro. Solidifies the offensive line and we gain another high quality pick in this years draft.
