Well. In those sports they send a sports reporter, who most of the time knows what they talk about. Not some random foreign political woman who doesn't know much at all about the game, players or american sports way of thinking in general.

too lazy to go back through this thread...

i had the VS feed, and they called the MZA penalty a slew foot. to me that **** looked like a dive and a half. what did the MSG guys say? Unless MZA suddenly developed superhuman strength, it sure looked to me like Gleason just flopped like a beached whale.

regarding this game, i know the top line is going to get all of the credit, but you gotta give kudos to Biron. tough situation and he played his best game this calendar year by a MILE. i felt very comfortable watching him in net...never felt like he was 1 shot away from giving up a terribad goal. he just seemed calmer, more in control, and not as fidgety in net...tough to describe it better than that.

big time honorable mention to our goalie.

Marty was very good, especially considering the defense didn't come to play for long stretches as usual.

McD had a good game, but other than that I thought the D failed Biron (see: the two goals against, plus a handful of other opportunities)

no idea how sam and joe called it cause i had the game DVRed and i fast forward though much of their banter but my first thought when i watched the replay was that it was a slew foot

im not sure zuc really intended to pull him down but at the very least he was trying to knock him off balance...you have to know what can happen when you pull on a guys shoulder with your leg behind his knees like that

What happend was that they came together as both were trying to get to the puck in the corner.
Gleason got MZA off balance and as MZA regained balance Gleason ate it.
BS penalty if you ask me, they were fighting for position to get to the puck.
We saw a couple of soft calls going in favor for Carolina today, this being one of them

First line was great, it really makes a difference when Richards is on his game. I just hope we aren't a one line team with the way the lines are constructed but Cally should add some depth when he returns.

I echo the sentiments about Stepan, he hasn't looked right lately. His decision-making is off, especially on odd man rushes, and his skating seems to have regressed. The same thing happened last season, his skating got progressively worse as the season wore on, so perhaps he could benefit from getting less ice time on the 2nd or 3rd line. He's also been getting muscled off the puck lately, that could be a problem in the playoffs.

Richards, Gabby, Hags.

Big time honorable mention for Biron, who some folks here were all but ready to throw under the bus a few days ago. And he did it with a d-man corp that looked a bit shaky at times.

Can someone dig up/compile/whatever a list of all of Al's interviews between periods from this year? I'd like to see just how much "luck" Al has given them. Should be an interesting nonsense stat, like when JD and Sam would do the trivia battles.

holy crap...did anyone happen to see Jeff Skinner on the Rangers 2nd goal of the night? If he was on the Rangers he wouldn't have sniffed another shift for the rest of the game...

Ok , so we need a razor sharp hockey expert to ask simple but yet the only questions we need to hear; are you happy with his game?;will he play next game etc?...
Thats overkill and BS to me. Its become a hype to bash this women.Especially among some "hardcore" norwegian fans.

Yhea, its not her fault that Norway in general only cares about Zuccarello, and that the first line could score 12 goals in a match without anyone giving a **** over here.

Regarding lines when Cally comes back, I'd like to see Zuccarello on the LW of that line.

I didn't get to see the game. Anyone know of a stream site or similar that shows it?

Cheers
