5 Kings players had multi-point games tonight:

Kopitar 1G, 1A
Doughty 1G, 1A
Williams 1G, 1A
Carter 1G, 1A
Brown 2A

Three others got on the scoreboard (Voynov, King, Stoll).

If the Kings keep playing the way they did tonight, they'll get into the playoffs on their own will not having to rely on other teams to help them out.

Carts told Kopi, if Rick was on the ice he would have missed the open net.

Good things happen when Doug Howson and Dean Lombardi make trades with each other, it seems. I approve. Anything but another Anson acquisition this, the added help to the first line as a result of adding a good second is really something.

King has 9 pts in 15 games. Nolan has been great now that he's in a role that he will thrive in. Carter has been money. Brown and Kopi have kicked it in to gear. Good win but we have to keep this **** rolling.

Kings would be in 7th if they didn't blow the game in Detroit. Crazy.

Deadline deal working out for dean so far.

Carter and Voynov >> Jack and a 1st.

Funny what happens when you add a 30+ goal scorer to your 2nd line.

Don't forget Voynov with 2 goals and 5 points since jack was traded. He's also +5.

A win against the Wings always feels extra good no matter the situation. I love seeing those Detroit fans leave Staples unhappy.

That's how I saw the deal when it went down. Carter & Voynov for Johnson and a 1st. What GM doesn't make that deal?

Seriously.

And I say **** you to everyone who thinks Carter is a cancer. Look at the guy on the bench alone...he's got Kopi and Richards laughing it up. He's always smiling. Maybe instead of getting all pissy at Carter, CBJ fans should look at their crappy organization and wonder if there was something to Carter's unhappiness.....but no, it's easier to call the player a cancer.

Looks like Doughty really did get pissed about Milbury!

And Richards......come on man, don't give up, you'll break out soon!!
