If he plays the rest of the season like he did tonight, I don't give a **** how many goals or points he gets.

You can't really call it that, because in the long run Voynov would have a spot over Martinez. Or rather if Lombardi doesn't make the Johnson/Carter trade, he probably trades Martinez for a pick at the deadline.

Kings have outscored their opponent 2-0 in the last 33 times shorthanded.

My favorite part of the night was Drew saying he wished Richard had got the goal. Shows he is thinking team and not about himself. Not sure if he would have felt that way last year.

Great win! That's exactly what we needed coming off the lose on friday night to Detroit!

p.s. a gif of Tom Hanks chanting "Wings Suck" will be required!

You can because Voynov beat jack into the top four. You can't pay jack that kind of money to be a #5 defenseman. Martinez is fine as a number 6.

In 9 games, Carter has equalled the season goal totals of both Stoll and Penner, who have both scored 5.

How do you guys think Voynov ranks amongst rookie NHL defenseman?

He's tied for the highest point per game average of any rookie dman that's played more than 10 games. He also has an impressive +9. Gardiner and Larsson get a lot of hype, but I think Voynov and Ellis from Nashville are the best.

This kid is gonna be special.

He only showed up on the scoreboard once tonight, but Dwight King has impressed the heck out of me. I like him a lot with Richards and carter.

Three others got on the scoreboard (Voynov, King, Stoll).

If the Kings keep playing the way they did tonight, they'll get into the playoffs on their own will not having to rely on other teams to help them out.
Richards had a goal and an assist tonight too. And then both were changed 20 minutes after they each took place. dude is snakebitten in every sense.
