is there anything you can do about a cracked stick blade

I blocked a slap shot with the blade of my stick and now there is a small crack about 3" from the heel on the bottom of the blade. The stick doesn't feel dead but when i push down on the blade the crack definitely opens a little, is there any kind of epoxy that would extend the life. I plan on using it as a backup, so I just want to be confident it will last for a game if the other breaks.

Not really from what you're describing. It will eventually crack. I'd start saving for a new stick or blade if you cut the shaft.

Try taking it to Stick Fix (if it's a composite and if you have one nearby)

i'm using thin layer of epoxy for my cracked ST (toe). for inline (3games) it was fine. haven't tried it on ice.

When I crack a blade I put superglue in the cracks and tape it up real good with wax. I also don't take any slapshots.
