I know the kings have struggled offensively this year, but they have scored 24 goals (not counting the shootout goal) in the last 8 games. thats 3 goals/game. could the offense possibly be coming around?

I bet after this post season the Nucks make a choice of Lou or Cory.
I'm not doubting their reasoning. I'm saying that once Quick is resigned we shouldn't follow the same route. We need to address our forward ranks much more than they do.

Sutter: Richards `best two-way centerman in NHLí

Quote:
SUTTER: “Well, we need the line to produce. If you look at it, and prorate it, both of those lines [first two lines] are clicking on a 70-, 75-goal pace. If you had those two lines doing that for a whole 82 games, instead of breaking it down individually, that’s pretty good. To me, he is the best two-way centerman in the NHL. If it’s someone telling you that you’re not scoring enough, or doing this or that, that’s not what your game is about. Your game is about being on the right side of the puck and making plays. I’m not worried about it. I’m really not worried about it at all, from his standpoint. Everybody talked about his mistake in Detroit. Well, if that’s the only mistake he makes, every five or six games, I can take that.’’

So he calls out Kopitar and he calls Richie the...`best two-way centerman in NHL’

I'm surprised that he didn't say: "Richards is the best two-way centerman in Alpha quadrant. Ever." Because let's be realistic. Who could be better? Name ONE player in the history of the league who comes even close to Mike Richards.

I don't even think Sutter believes that.

I love when they give him that headset and he looks around and then makes a scary burping sound.

I actually have no problems, I understand every word he says without even trying hard. First week was tough, but then I got used to it. I can even talk like him now, imitating people has always interested me. If you want to imitate Sutter, the most important part is his facial expression. Once you get that right, his speech becomes automatic.
