Stanley Cup Drought

Two seasons ago, Chicago had the longest Stanley Cup drought. They won.
Last season, Boston had one of the longest Stanley Cup droughts. They won.
This season, there is a three way tie between Toronto, LA and St. Louis for the longest Stanley Cup drought.
And it is looking like Toronto and LA will not make the playoffs.

Can it even be a drought when there has never been a drop of rain before?

We've made it to the finals before. Clouds were looming.

A fan of a different team started the thread, so jinx rules don't apply.

Anything goes!

It's like Mizzou and the Final Four, I am not gonna get my hopes hope.

But, if both of those things happen, I don't even know what I'll do with myself.

And did not win a single game there after beating an intentionally very weak conference.

Those were not rain clouds.

Isnt Torontos a year longer?

At any rate, these things are just mere coincidences. The Vancouver fans last year were certain they would win because Montreal and Calgary both won the Stanley Cups the year after they hosted the Olympics.

If you look long enough, youll find variables that will make almost any situation seem likely.
