I hereby name this line.....

make your selections...

My official selection is:

The Michelin line

It's a play off all of their names, and they all have speed.

Thoughts?

I posted in the PGT-- the MBC line. It's close to NBC, where we will be in the spring thanks to them.

I'm sticking with The Holy Trinity. The most exciting thing we've iced this year not named Lundqvist.

I was in awe... The kind of passing we saw between Richards, Gaborik, and Hagelin made it seem like they were communicating telepathically.

last 2 games this line played about as well as the Straka - Nylander - Jagr line played when they were at their best...last time ive remember a Rangers line that's played this well.

But as I've said all along this team is still at least one more 30 goal scorer away from being a legit contender IMO.

Just imagine:

Hagelin - Richards - Gaborik
Nash/Ryan/? - Stepan - Callahan
Dubinsky - Anisimov - Mitchell
Feds - Boyle - Prust

That would have been an extremely deep team to go into the playoffs.

Will be interesting to see how Stepan and Callahan do on the same line going forward.
I see Nash/Ryan working well but that line excelling with parise.

First, let me say that I love this line and I hope Torts sticks with it for a while to see what it can really do against all different kinds of teams.

Now this is a little off-topic but I don't feel like starting a thread over it so here I go... does anyone else hate it when Gabby carries the puck over the opposing team's blue line and skates into 2 defenders trying to deke past both of them unsuccessfully? I feel like he did this a couple of times last night and definitely has done it in past games this season. Gabby is a great player with awesome speed and a sniper's touch, but I don't really see him as the "deking through a mass of defenders" kind of player. He's gotta either take the shot or get it low in those situations.

But yeah... I love the line. Keep it going, Torts!

Just imagine:

Nash/Ryan/Parise/Radulov - Richards - Gaborik
Dubinsky - Anisimov - Callahan
Kreider - Stepan - Hagelin
Feds/Rupp - Boyle - Prust
Mitchell/MZA

With lots of options
I guess Parise is the only option as a UFA (Radulov??) - and we will not see this lineup. Ever

Yeah he has a tendency to do that for whatever reason. It's generally pretty ineffective.

Hagelin is having a great season. It is amazing last year at this time Hagelin was considered in the mix around the 10th best prospect on the prospect list.

This just shows it is tough to predict which prospects will make it in the NHL and which prospects could bust.

For all we know, Yogan is the next star for the Rangers and Kreider is traded in 3 years. LOL

I was bonkers for hagelin after actually watching him in a few games last year. Was in every prospect poll thread complaining he wasn't the one being voted on lol. The hockey IQ combined with his physical gifts and a veteran locker room he's a phenom. The real LIN. HAGELIN.
Though people doubted he'd be this good this fast he was almost unanimously counted on as a 3rd/4th liner for us for the next few years.

holy crap Hagelin is having a great Rookie yr. He's another Stepan. College kids seem to make the transition quickly. Go Kreider! Also Miller played before he came to the OHL this yr.

Its going to be interesting to see what happens when Cally is back maybe even next game.

is it Dubinsky or Anisimov with Stepan and Cally?

I think Torts loves keeping Feds, Boyle, Prust together

that would mean a good player to a "4th line" A talented guy with Zuccarello may be a good idea for secondary scoring. That would mean Mitchell and Rupp would have to sit , rotate?...............still afraid Torts will send Zuke down even though he obviously can help the PP
