Afraid my optimism is quickly diminishing. I don't have much hope for a playoff spot and really I'm pretty much now just hoping the team doesn't fold and go on a big losing streak to end the year...although I guess a better draft pick might be a good thing. The season has been so entertaining and the mts such a fun place I'd hate for things to go south right at the end of the season - but for some reason I fear that might happen.

Hey I'm willing to ride this roller coaster one more time to the lofty heights of playoff optimisim. All that matters right now is 6 points on this 3 game homestand (including 2 clean pts against the Caps). If this happens we will be back in contention and we can all discuss how our next road trip will be different. Keep the hope alive.
