After the SO loss to the caps the islanders should come out ready to play. Flyers need to match their intensity or at least weather the storm early and come away with 2 points.
I'm off to the wilderness for a while, living without Internet connection. I hope I can come back to the civilized world on Monday to find out about three new shutouts for Bryzgalov/Bobrovsky. Oh, and no new injuries please.
No excuse to not roll over the Islanders. I want a rout. And I'm going counterintuitive by hoping Bob starts. Yes, it would be nice to pad Bryzgalov's stats and even go for the team shutout record, but Bob needs a boost, too.
So if Kubina plays Lilja sits? I think Kubina & Gus will be a good one.
I was thinking about this last night, but damn didn't Lilja, Gus, Coburn look amazing last night against the Devils? Hard to sit Lilja or Gus but I would guess Lilja. Maybe Lavi will throw a curve and sit Carle?
Timonen had his wrist and hand heavily iced after the game while he was doing postgame interviews. Claude Giroux was originally on the postgame interview list but was soon taken off, leading to speculation that he may have been taking treatment for an injury during the game. Giroux finished the night without a point, but won 10 of 13 faceoffs (77 percent).
