MZA played 2 more minutes than Dubinsky last night. I think that says a lot.
I thought MZA was good; noticeable battling for pucks, making smart passes; hitting the post and the penalty on him could have gone either way. I don't consider that a bad penalty. He got tied up with a bigger man and somehow he got the better of the physical confrontation.

I totally agree. He looked good and he was winning pucks all over the place and his improved speed, at least to me, was noticeable on his back-checking.
Breakout game for Hagelin. That was a world class performance. Now, as we all curious to see..... can it be repeated? Hags was building up to last nights performance. He's been consistent since his arrival. I think we just might have something special in the works.
Carolina is not a physical team. Once we play those who know how to hit the skill guys both Hags and MZA would look small. We will know as soon as Thu. Hope I am wrong, but...
Ok , so we need a razor sharp hockey expert to ask simple but yet the only questions we need to hear; are you happy with his game?;will he play next game etc?...
Thats overkill and BS to me. Its become a hype to bash this women.Especially among some "hardcore" norwegian fans.
Do you send a sports guy who knows nothing about Iraq, the area or history down there or not knowing any contacts to cover the war? No. It's amateurish and most of those questions she ask would be asked by some american guy now and then anyway.

Hagelin has consistently outworked defensemen along the boards since coming up. Unlike a lot of smaller players I don't think that's a problem for him in the slightest. His speed usually lets him get positioning and he can change directions so quickly it's hard for even strong defenseman to get a good hit on him and pin him along the boards

Yes you said it ;amateurish. Thats the right word for the whole corps of norwegian hockey "reporters", so dont expect anything more. At least I dont, but hopefully things will change if more players are coming in.

I actually find the whole thing somewhat endearing. Doesn't mean it might not get old eventually. The Norwegian (as in the general population) want to hear a little about Zuks and she prompts him to say a thing or two about him, which he might not do otherwise. I don't really see anything wrong with it.
It's probably really good for hockey in Norway as a whole. Not saying it's Tort's job to help Norway's hockey program, but it's not like it's that big a deal.
Now, Rupp's spot becomes suspect when and if Kreider breaks in, or we have a situation where Mitchell pushes Rupp out. Torts likes Mitchell, for some reason.

I'd start with the Pack line and Stepan-Zuke combo. Both groups have had some success in the past. Rupp and Mitchell could switch at LW depending on the opposition.
