It's not the cost, it's the time. Granted, the kids seem to really dig the activities the wife creates for them for the drive down. I was simply hoping to sit for two hours, then meet my Mom at the airport and drive the 20 minutes to their place. Now... considerably longer times NOT at the beach.

Alright, who changed the topic to this horrible pun so I know who to slap when I make a road trip to Buffalo?

As for right now, they get a metaphorical rolled up newspaper across their puppy nose and a "Nnnno!"

Don't talk about pizza. I'm fasting today until dinner.

Speaking of which, the grill has been brought out and was fired up last night with some chicken tenderloins and fresh marinated veggies. Seven months of grilling? Hell yes.

PK/Clock, two questions:

What kind of camera do you have?

Where did you find the photography class you took?

Thanks!

We have a Digital Rebel XTi with a bunch of different lenses and we took the class in the Tonawanda education summer catalog in the school on Elmwood. It was recommended to us by a guy I worked with. Great stuff, definitely.

It's really warm when you're in the sun. Looks like rain tomorrow and Friday, but still nice and warm for the rest of the week. Hopefully it stays permanently and we don't get some sneaky May Blizzard.

What Clock said. The class we took last year was a basic 101 - how to shoot in manual class. I feel like I never knew the camera until after that class.

I'm signing up for the 102 class this spring which is all about lighting. I'm rather excited. If you hadn't noticed from facebook, I enjoy taking pictures of a certain subject.

I'm at work for 2 more hours

Then I spend all evening in a recording studio

But I do move to Los Angeles in less than two weeks, so I better enjoy the weather in CT while I can!

Thanks! My friend and I love taking pictures and want to get better at it, and taking a class is first on our list.

And no PK, I didn't notice at all

If you take the classes in Tonawanda (which I know is far away from you), the 101 class and the 102 are back to back the same day. You could take them concurrently as well and I'd be in your second class.

When Clock & I took the first class, we kept looking at a guy in our class who looked SOOO much like McDermott that it was almost uncanny. Turned out it was his brother. Ha - small world.

I'll have to look into it. But my friend lives in Kenmore so one of us would have to travel somewhere anyway, and I'm the one who has more time on her hands, haha.

Could you please send me the details on fb?

It's so nice out and I love it! Even if it is only for a day it's worth it due to the wardrobe change. It' s nice walking around and seeing the girlies in strapless dresses, tank tops, tube tops, and all the rest. The best is that since this is the first real day of sun they all go out and sun bathe. Walking by and saying hello to the ones I know and even the ones I don't, just to introduce myself and talk to them is the best day in awhile. Time to get some "reading" done out on the porch.
