Although i thought this line was awesome last night..Maybe the best any line has played all year, i'm still going to take a different approach until i see more of the same. Keep in mind it was the Canes. If they dominate the Pens & Bruins the same way i'll be ecstatic. I still worry this line, in the end, is going to be a defensive liability..With Richard's leading the way..Just MHO..

Who would have thought that putting our pure offensive talents on the same line would yield goals.

next untouchable line will be kreider, stepan callahan. Leaves a semi talented line of dubi anismov and some one else who is in limbo.

My vote goes to Michelin line. It would be nice to get a secondary line potting some goals while this line is hot.

Michelin
Dubi - Anisimov - Cally
Mitch/Rupp - Stepan - MZA
Feds - Boyle - Prust

Bring back the PACK line Torts!

The: Top line as it stands right now, but probably will be broken up at some point because none of our lines have been consistently good for more than a few weeks at a time line.

only a matter of time until either boyle or mitchell find their way onto that line.

regardless of whether their consistent or not gaborik and richards should stick together for a while

I don't think Torts will play both AA and Dubi over Stepan. I do like yout line combos though.

If you put the 3 names together, you get the name of one of my ex-girlfriends: Marica

Keep them together as long as the chemistry exists.

With that said, I started to cringe, at times, watching Gabs, Richards, and Hags get caught around the net as Carolina was coming out 3 on 2. Fortunately the Canes aren't an offensive threat.
The Pens???

The guys have played on a line for a relatively short period of time so some adjustments probably are needed. They sure were exciting.

thats almost exactly what i would do

I'd also dubble shift Gaborik as a sub for Mitch/Rupp with Step and MZA from time to time like they did earlier in the season

maybe not during the last leg of the regular seaosn, but id certainlly start doing that in the playoffs

True... but what I had seen last night from them was chemistry I hadn't seen form Anisimov-Stepan-Gaborik.

Remember when the Giants had Jacobs, Bradshaw, and Ward use Earth, Wind, and Fire?

We can do something like that. Gaborik, Hags, and Richie can be Wind, Wind, and Beaver.

Missed most of the game last night although I caught the end and the highlights. Maybe its because i didn't see the whole thing but one game does not a top line make, even a game like that. The way some fans and the announcers were talking about them you'd think they steamrolled every top team in the league. They beat the Hurricanes during their first game together.
