Pretty sad that Duemig is the best of that bunch...at least with him he'll talk hockey. Can't say that about most of the other hosts in town unless it's playoff time.
I really liked Duemig for quite some time, but when he started getting full of himself, I turned it off. They haven't really had very good personalities since the Sports Babe and Chris Thomas.

Was she better when she was here earlier in her career because I felt like I lost brain cells whenever I unfortunately tuned into her show recently. She sounded like some drunk at the bar trying to talk sports. She always acted like the Rays sold out every game but would never report it.

She was pretty terrible when on 1010. Your description is pretty accurate, haha. I like that 1010 now has Pawlowski or however you spell it. Always liked him.

Jackson and Nicks were good signings for you guys...can't say the same about Wright. He's getting paid like a top corner when he's not good at all. Does that rule out Claiborne being the pick at #5?

Attended a fundraising luncheon today in Connor Barth's "hometown" in North Carolina (his parents and brother still here I haven't lived in Buffalo for many years.) He spoke for a bit. Seemed like an OK guy, but talk was scripted. Dude isn't overly big, for sure.
So I took advantage of the free Storm ticket(s) that were allotted to me because of my Lightning tickets and the only thing that came out of it is that one of the cheerleaders is definitely a guy. Was the butt of a few jokes during the game.

This game was awesome. Worst first half of basketball I've ever seen followed by some really fun, offensive stuff from USF. They almost lost control when they were up by only 2 but then they just took control again and the bar I was at erupted. So fun and they have a legit shot at playing North Carolina in the sweet sixteen if they can get thru Ohio.
