07-08 was an incredibly lucky team in terms of injuries. Just look at the games played for most of the big guys

08-09 was so bad and absurd it's almost funny to look back on it now. I remember some of the ridiculous rumours from the "darkest day", including that Markov was heading an under-age prostitution ring back in Russia.

11-12 has just been bad...

I'd argue it started with not bringing back Streit. Third leading scorer on the team, versatile, awesome on the power play, supposedly was willing to take a discount to stay...and Gainey doesn't even call him.

It would have also saved us 2-3 second rounders. Just unreal.

Price was playing incredible hockey and then got hurt. When he came back (probably too early) he sucked.

Ugh watching YT clips on how they dominated teams with skill and passing.

Are we really going to argue semantics?

My point was that the Habs were lucky to have so little injuries.

Kovalev's goal at 1:56 is sick.

Always wondered what caused that team to just implode or maybe it was just a culmination of things already mentioned. Was very sad to see that team ripped apart. I miss Saku.

And they owned Boston.
Hmmph that was the year before. That one was the year the Habs finally started losing games to Boston and Komisarek became a sissy and had an injury filled horrible season (he also got his faced caved in by Lucic). It all went downhill from there.
