No points are not the same in March and October, I'm sorry you feel that way but you are wrong. And as for Mr. 'I'm ok with .500', good for you, I want to win in the playoffs and go into the playoffs strong.

We need Anderson back for the shootouts. He gives me much more confidence then Big Ben. It seems like his five hole is so open all the time and his blocker side is pretty weak.

I don't like Gilroy...that's all I have to say...I hope he doesn't miss like that in a more important game down the line...

It's easy for other coaches. Just put out small players.

We lost in the shootout because our forwards couldn't even score 1. Bishop had a good game and there's no way that you can pin this on him.

I would but I've gotten in trouble for posting spoiler titles before.

Well would you look at that! Who would have thought we'd be 1 point behind Boston with 11 GR?

What was the point of trading for Gilroy again?

Yep. Bishop played great. Our star players didn't come through when we needed them, except for Karlsson.

To the poster in the GDT that said he'd be concerned until the team locks up a spot since they have proven they can lose in long stretches.

Don't even try and pull that. We got two points our last two games by playing hard and getting the game to a shoot out. The game before that we beat the beast team in the Eastern Conference.

Way to have faith in your team bud. Go away and GTFO if you're going to have that attitude. Absurd.

****ing Gilroy. Could have earned his new teammates respect and blew it. That shot of him at the bench had him looking like somebody stole his his girlfriend. ****ing *****.

Frustrating loss but par for the course when we play the Habs this season. The Sens have to do something about their shooting accuracy. I'm really sick of hearing the words "high" and "wide" in reference to it.

At the end of the day we have to acknowledge that we're a 7th place team and be happy with that position. And if we slip to 8th, I'd rather play the Rangers in the playoffs anyway.

Murray said he liked something about his game. I don't remember what it was.

What attitude? That we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves? I suggest you re-read what I wrote. I said there was reason for concern that's not the same thing as saying we won't make it. Ever heard the expression don't count your chickens before they've hatched?

Ask any of the guys in the room how they feel. They'll say the same thing. There's no need to think about the playoffs until they've got a spot 100% locked up.

Well with the Winnipeg game, Sens playoff chances stay pretty much the same.

Murray's smart, you don't focus on the negatives when the guy's new to the team and struggling.

Montreal plays a style that really matches up against us for some reason. We can't seem to generate any good offensive chances against them.

Of course, it doesn't help that we suck at shooting the puck on the net.

You need to look at the big picture this is year 1 of the rebuilt just to make the playoffs is amazing but you have to be realistic here this team has very little chance of going past the 1st round of the playoffs unless our goaltender pull a Halak which I doubt.

This team as grown so much since the start of the season but our defensive game needs to improve a lot for us to be a force in the East, we're not there yet but it's coming.

And by the way a win in October is worth 2pts, just as a win in March is worth 2pts, 2pts is 2pts no more no less.

I don't think Daugavins stepped on the ice after the first period. Guess Butler is back on Friday.
