6 points of a possible 8. We deserved 2 points against Buffalo, 0 points tonight.

Let's take it and pump up for Friday.

I think Gilroy must watch Karlsson from the bench and think, "Hey, I can do that!". No. No you can't.
Kid just needs to start playing some D. Get everyone knowing how you play, then start working on the rest. I don't even want to talk about that miss.

Oh he will......dude never even hits the net if you give him a wide open shot from the point.

The SO loss is not a big deal. There is parity in this league and last place team can beat 1sy place team.

Hech Blues of all teams are sitting 1st overall with 98 pts and Rangers at 95 in 2nd place. A borderline playoff bottom seed team last year and a team that finished 11th in the west last year.

Habs played hard....Gilroy is useless and missed. Deal with it.

At least in was in a position to score, 5 feet from the net. Lee couldn't find his way to the net even with a GPS.

Price. They try to hard to pick the corners, rather than just shooting the puck.

Pretty sure we just suck at hitting the net in general. I know we were 2nd in missed shots at one point, not sure anymore though.

Missing high and wide = breakout for other team
Hitting goaltender = chance for rebound

I thought we played a pretty good game for the most part.

I felt we controlled the play in their end for extended stretches and Price was solid.

We got a point out of it and had to come back down 1.

Hopefully we can get some revenge.

In order to remotely even play like Karlsson you need hockeysense.on top of speed and skill, and shot, vision and the whole 9 yards.

If the coaching staff fancy him as another karlsson wanna be on the 2nd pairing it is instant FAIL.

Yeah, I'm not liking Gilroy either. Well, at least we got point I guess. Could really have won that game though...

Look at the bright side, if karlsson does not score that big goal at a critical time when the habs were clapsing hard all night, you get no points.

Too bad Kuba couldn't think the game at that same level when king karlsson was about to produce more magic in OT.

Can't believe Gilroy missed that shot, Lee would never get a chance in that spot but still, that should have been game over.

Seems like Murray is really keen on reclamation projects.
I don't see anything good from Gilroy

Hahahaha, that pass by Kuba was so disgusting, I was crying. That's why I'm praying somehow, we sign Suter. He'll make Karlsson a million times better and our offense.

Weber gets Norris consideration but he's playing with a guy who is considered by the fanbase to be even better than him.

I'm not going to guess at what the coaching staff are telling him, but I get the impression he's trying too hard.

Thinking maybe go back to the Gonchar-Phillips second pairing, but it's not fair on Cowen to get Gilroy.

For the record, Bishop is now 2-0-2 with a 2.16 GAA and .926 SV%.

Looks pretty good to me...

Bishop was absolutely solid. Huge saves to keep us in it and looked reallll good.

I can see future number 1 in him. With that being said, he was one of the only positives in this game.

Suter is a pipedream. We aren't getting him.

At this point, I'm thinking maybe take a gander at Bouwmeester, if Calgary finally decides to rebuild.

Sure he's overpaid, but isn't as if we're a capped team. He's one of the best in the league at being steady. If he was paired with Karlsson, he wouldn't need to be the guy, but just be the steady influence to Karlsson's flash (the Kuba role). Add the fact that he's a much better skater, he'll probably do a better job than Kuba.

We are vulnerable against speedy teams like the habs. They have tons of speed when they break out cleanly, and that's all their offence comes from. A little disappointed with this loss. We played well in the first. The next two periods are pretty even. The turning point is we didn't score on the pp, and they grabbed the momentum and started pushing back. We need to get a lead on Friday and keep skating. Don't worry, we'll make the playoffs.

We absolutely deserved the Buffalo game. Would of been a blowout had it not been for Miller
