Recommend outdoor wheel please

The rink by me is a fancy sealed concrete I think. Pretty smooth for outside. Most of the guys use the Labeda Asphalts there, but man they aren't cheap. I guess I'll get a set of those unless anyone can suggest a cheaper wheel that doesn't suck?

I got on the expensive labedas first, but they got chewed up extremely fast. Since I changed to the cheapest base rage wheels and I really couldn't notice a difference in grip. They are killed in about the same time. I also used the VT333 from Rinkrat. They have awesome grip, but they get used up quicker than the previous two. Some guys swear by the Hyper Pros but they're more expensive and they do not seem to last longer.

All above is just my 2c. I skate pretty aggressive, almost icehockey style, so I go through a lot of them.

I've got Hyper Pro 150s and am honestly amazed at their longevity. I was skating outside on a rough concrete 2x per week for 2-3 hours per session, for 2 years (April-Oct) and am still on the same set. Not only that but they're wearing very smoothly and aren't cracking at all. My weight in that time was from 205 up to 220lbs., so they can definitely stand up to a beating.

I love labeda wheels...but I get what you're saying about the asphalts. I skate on probably an identical surface and I actually found the asphalts to be too slick for me. I weigh about 180.

A combination of Labeda grippers (80a) or the shooters (78a) should do fine.
