Also Vanek was noticeably awful.
It literally didn't notice him the whole 3rd period. Our "top line" sucks our second line is awesome.

Once again the leadership, the core, no where to be found.

Nobody wants to hear it but the last goal was just plain bad luck.

The shot from the Av player spinning out from the corner and firing blindly wasn't going to go towards the net until it was redirected by Hodgson's skate. Then its stopped by Miller's pad and was heading behind the net. That should have been game over. Instead Weber manages to kick it back towards the front, it goes off Miller and dribbles in the crease near the goal line. Pommer had fallen so his man was wide open and puts it in.

Listen, I love the positives that Kaleta brings to this team. But when he's out there, the negatives happen too often. If he had a different name on his jersey I could tolerate it. But he doesn't. It is a detriment to the team because of his reputation.

Good:
-Landeskog. Some much deserved praise form the NBC Sports crew. That kid is a gamer.
-Foligno-Ennis-Stafford. Keep this line together forever.
-I liked Roy's game tonight. Lot's of jam. Finished his checks. No complaints here.
-Ehrhoff was really good.

Bad:
-McNabb did not look good.
-Weber was bad.
-Downie is such a scrub.
-Hodgson hitting the post. He played better tonight; hitting that post must have killed what little confidence he had.
-Allowing another late goal.
-Miller was off. Vanek and Pominville were MIA.

This was probably the most demoralizing loss this season. We got a point, but I barely care.... Just horrible.... Such a depressing way to lose. We should have won that game big time, but the defensive lapses killed us. So many brainfarts.

Can't help but think we would have won easy with Sekera and Myers.

Lindy, wtf are you doing putting mike weber in at the end? I didn't see it, so i don't know how much time was on the clock when he got on the ice but FFS you have other defensemen!

U
blowing another lead. this is gonna get in their heads like when we constantly had 2-0 leads against boston in the playoffs and blew all of them, and now we have to worry even when we're up 3-0

If Mario Williams leaves Buffalo without signing, tomorrow is going to be a real dismal day.

Yep, that's it in a nutshell. Not sure how Miller can be blamed on that one. Miller wasn't great tonight, but he was a lot better than a few of you are giving him credit for.

I just hope they don't come to regret that lost point.

Parise-Hodgson-Brown
Foligno-Ennis-Stafford

Yeah, Myers absence was noticeable. He's been great.

Something is SERIOUSLY wrong with vanek, i know he is the laziest player on the team on any given knight, but when he would come near the puck in the offensive zone he was like rubber and everything bounced off him to the avs dmen.....not to mention how we suffer won defence with him playing even worse then normal. its usually fine cause he makes up for it in goals, but hes gotta be hurt and its hurting the team, we gotta take him out and let him heel and put somone in who is not a liability.

Good: foligno!

bad: sitting back in the third with 16 minutrs left praying for 2 points, and also ruff using boyes again in the SO when he is way past his lucky streak, he should have used stafford who had a good game.

Ugly - Vanek, myers being very wrongly suspended which screwed us in the last ten seconds when they skated through our whole team, the fact that we NEEDED 2 points worse then ever and decided to play the worst hockey of the year in the last TEN FRE*KING SECONDS...

my last scar on my knuckle hasn't healed from the third period of the bruins game from when i punched my wall, and now I have another one...darn

The top line played worse than Myers, Sekera and Gerbe.

Outside of the entire FES line, I'd say it was deserved. Roy had a strong game IMO.
