i think it's because kaberle was with his girlfriend, who was in labor.

St-Denis was solid.

Better in his defensive end than Weber last night or Kaberle on a usual night.

He is a good "patch". If the Habs cannot find good D's on the UFA/trade market, St-Denis could stand in and be a 6/7 and hold his own in limited games/minutes.
