Come down with fire
And lift my spirit higher
Someone's screaming my name
Come and make me holy again

If anyone has time to dig up the stats, I'd really like to know how King's time with Carter and Richards compares, on a points/60 minutes basis, with the performance of other "bottom 6" players when playing with Kopitar or Richards. Obviously King has the benefit of Carter as well as Richards, so things are no quite even. On the other hand, he's been very impressive while other fill-ins have been underwhelming. It would be interesting to see how the numbers compare.

It means that he liked it a lot and that he is preparing a very special song for his 10000th post.

"Redoing the chart and uploading it is a pain. But I did the math, his score is -

2.477 even strength points per hour of even strength ice time.

That would put him 2nd on the list to Hagelin."

Stolen from the main board on rookie scoring / 60. I asked the OP about King to see how he compared with other rookies. It's not exactly what you asked for, but it still puts Kings performance in perspective with other rookies.

It's hilarious because this entire board was trashing this poor kid just a few months back. Nice to see him doing so well.

No, not the "entire board". I was actually impressed with King when he was first recalled last season, but I might have been the only one. Back then, King's biggest problem was that Kopitar and Brown wouldn't pass him the puck! Was that King's fault? But in terms of skating, positional play, physical play, tempo, etc., King fit right in. He just didn't produce so MOST of the board thrashed him around.
