I know we're better than this.
really - we get it - there have been about 15 warnings in the last 3 days in various threads...but saying that we wanna see Cindy and every other flightless bird get hit at every turn is not wishing harm - just wishing we make it as hard as possible for them to play their game...

...besides...only NFL players can get away with wishing harm on an opposing player....and I dont know anyone on this board that has suited up on Sunday recently...

I know it's board rules, but I'm not sure why it's taboo to wish a player got hurt.

The opinion may not be tasteful for everyone, but much in the same way that some humor is not for everyone, my opinions are also not for everyone.

I still have my hopes, but will refrain from actually saying it.

Right... although for those of us out of the MSG market... this game was originally scheduled to be on NHL Network.

This is hockey.

We're not saying that talking about hitting him is not ok. That's my game plan--hit him hard and hit him often.

Where it doesn't become ok is when we hope we start hurting him.

We're all adults we should know the difference.

Biggest game of the season by quite a margin. Let's show them why we've been number one in the conference for most of the season.

LET'S GO RANGERS!

Just hoping for a solid effort and a great game. Gotta play to our strengths and hit them hard. Would love to see another multipoint game from our new first line but the Penguin's defense is a lot better than the 'Canes so our secondary scoring has to step up. Anisimov-Stepan-Dubi you're up!

Should be a great test for the Rangers. As many have said, I'm a little leery of how this one will be controlled by the officials, but I'll hope they do the right thing.

Rangers will really need to set the tempo early and get one on the board so they can control the pace of the game.

Same #NYR lineup . No goalie announcement yet. But this means Callahan n Del Zotto sitting again

AGrossRecord: Torts says not sure on whether Lundqvist or Biron is in net.

Haha....yeah I'm SURE it'll be Biron...

Hank is in net. No doubt about it.

Getting a little paranoid with callahan being out this long for a "deep bruise"

Neal had a bruise so deep they thought he actually broke his leg..he came back in TWO GAMES.

Have you ever tried to put a skate on with a badly bruised foot? Not fun.

I'm sure if this was the playoffs he would play, but no reason to play if you're hurting. I'd rather he heal up completely and be 100% going into the playoffs. Same goes for MDZ.

Hank was on the ice this morning, he has to be ok from being sick. How the **** do you play Biron against this lineup?

were done for if Biron plays. It's bad enough we don't have Cally or MDZ.

there's no way Hank is 100%. if he was, he'd be playing. i know he was skating this morning...

but seriously, if Henrik is 100% why is he not facing this team? Crosby is gonna hold a freakin clinic on Biron.

Maybe someday if you or somebody you care about has a serious head injury like post concussion syndrome which can be so debilitating that it has led to suicide for multiple former professional athletes you will understand why it is out of line.
