I contend that Green is our best defensive RD. He focused on D last year and quietly did just fine, but the trumpeted *ARL shutdown pairing stole the limelight.
Carlson this year, or what we think Carlson is capable of? Might take Green regardless, but it would end up being closer.

Orlov is extremely sound fundamentally and has a lot of talent. He continues to make a lot of rookie decisions. Anyone know where to find qualcomp for him (compatible with mobile browser)? I'm interested to see just how sheltered he really is.

Carlson and his complete body of work, to date.

Its tough to grade him in part because of the presumed level of competition, but then again I would say the same could be said of Target #1 Green over the years.

I think its close. At the same age, I think Carlson would be ahead. Green last year did good defensively, but Bruce refused to embrace him in that role. And few fans seem to acknowledge it. Few to no oops moments for his entire 49 games IIRC.
