All machines who'd behaviour does not improve immediately following are then decommissioned and sold for scrap.

If it's Bryz do they start Bob vs the Bruins or Bryz for the B's and Bob for the Pens>

While all the points matter, in a battle for home-ice advantage in the first round, the Pens game clearly is more important than the Bruins game, so Bryz almost assuredly starts that one. That said, the weekend games aren't as much travel and spread by the full 24 hours. I think Bryz gets the next 3 games.

I hope so. Seems the more he plays the more comfortable he is.

Kubina (injury) is not at today's morning skate, indicating he will not play.

Skate began at 11:30 a.m.

MSE: not really a GDT question but has there been any updates on JVR?

Holmgren said this current injury isn't related to the puck-in-the-face at Washington and Kubina played since then. Of course, neither of those facts is absolute for this matter. It has been an issue very tight-lipped.

Still on schedule following the surgery which means a return in early April is the most optimistic scenario.

Thank you; and thank you for the GDT.

For a second I forgot why JVR wasn't playing but then I remembered he took a puck off his foot. Poor guy has ran into some bad luck with health.

There probably has never been a better case of how much goaltending is a team sport than this one. The Flyers are built to score. They are at their core a high octane " (bleeping) get up and go team." Bryzgalov's resurgence has seen a huge drop off in offensive numbers for the Flyers. They have bought into the kind of team Bryzgalov works with...they have incorporated as much of the Phoenix Coyotes defense collapsing system as possible, and as they have done this they have made Bryzgalov a confident goalie again.
Quote:
There is a problem here however...the Flyers forwards aren't going to be able to be held back forever and this is a team who shouldn't have to win 1-0, 2-1 games to survive. I believe there will come another point when the push back will come and Bryzgalov will be left to make more open ice stops again...The hope in Philly will be that this stretch of confidence building will be enough to get Bryzgalov through when that happens. The risk is will this team be able to throw the switch and return to the highest scoring team in the NHL? You would think so, but we will find out soon enough.

Its Eklund but seems to be some truth to it when u think about what has happen with him and the team and they havent been scoring like they were before he turned it around and started playing better..

Sounds about as plausible as the idea of Pronger catching a virus that causes the same symptoms as a concussion

I know we are in the final stretch, but how many practices has this team had in the past week or two? Like 3? Seems like they either have off or it's optional.

Briere with at least 2 goals. Right?

I hope someone will knock Staios's block off.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever read. I don't care if we win every single game 1-0.

This Isles team actually scares me, so I hope we keep up with the good Defensive play. Let's go Bryz!
