Theodore Tests Positive

The Montreal Canadiens announced Thursday that goaltender Jose Theodore tested positive for a substance on the WADA banned substance list.

Theodore tested positive for the hair restoration drug, Propecia, which is not an anabolic steroid but does act as a masking agent. Mulder stated that Theodore has been using the product for "eight to nine years."

Nothing to discuss, they basically said it was a technicality and that he usually fills out some forms for it. Horrible for him though as he's kind of been a whipping boy this year in Montreal.

Maybe he should shave his head to help his game. It couldn't hurt it.

That's not what the article says. Since it's commonly used to mask steroid use, an arbitrator is going to hear his case, just like everyone else who's tested positive for a banned substance.

Goaltenders on steroids...

what's next? But seriously, I wouldn't personally speculate. Perhaps his mother's father is bald and he heard that that increases his chances and he doesn't think he can get wild with the women if he's a bald. Perhaps he has a full head of hair because of the propecia. If you stop taking it, you'll start losing your hair (if that was the pattern prior to taking it). Who knows.

Theodore doesn't look like someone who is taking steroids and isn't really in a postion where you can benefit much from taking it, atleast not at his age...

WaDa's rules can seem ridiculos at times. Ordinary medecine can get you caught ect. Though if a drog hides the use of steroids it must be banned or anyone who isn't a idiot could use steroids.

Why is it so weird for a goalie to be on steroids?
