It was okay, I went once. It wasn't III Forks expensive but more than a place like TXLC. I'd rather it still be in business but it's not like I was going back
I want Syracuse to lose and all but wow. Never heard "neutral" announcers openly cheer for a team like this before. They're all about UNC Asheville right now.

So, without watching a single game before the NCAA tournament and only using the general knowledge that I have learned from Sportsecenter and in this thread, my one and only bracket is in the top .1% of ESPNs contest thingy and crushing the field in the pool with my friends I'm the only person with all of their elite 8 picks left of the 10 participating and already can't be caught by 2 people.
I haven't watched Frozen Planet yet but the BBC does documentary right. And always go with the English accent over the American, always. It's a shame they make one with American voices (didn't Oprah do one of those series).

Gagree completely. Oprah did the rerun version of Planet Earth that I forget what it was called I think. Sigourny did the regular Planet Earth series but Oprah did the one that reaired footage but changed the topic. The entire "Planet" series is excellent but I don't think anyone will be able to say that Planet Earth isn't the best, especially with Attenborough narrating.

The BBC also did a series called "Wild China." It aired during the months leading up to the Beijing Olympics and is fantastic. It's still mostly nature but I really like the human element they show in that series. I liked it so much I bought it on DVD. I think they may have a "Wild Japan" now too...definitely have a "Wild Russia", but Wild China is still my favorite. The narrator sounds like the guy (but isn't) who does the "narrating" in the movie the 300.
I think I'm keeping this PG-13 ... but does anyone know how to stop the Billy Boy condom adds? At home they aren't a big deal, but at work it's hard to explain a phallus in a top hat and red bow tie when I get an opportunity to visit HF.

Like Undecided said, becoming a sponsor wipes out any advertisement (as far as I know). It's like a $1 a month.

Absolutely loved/love that show. Watch it whenever I see it's on. Didn't realize they had Japan and China as well. Now I have to go find those!

I'm thousands of miles away from home but I will not be denied my Walking Dead fix. Just watched the season finale last night. Shane really caused that switch to flip in Rick. It was beautiful to see. No more wavering or taking the "no man left behind at the expense of the group" tactic. I can't wait for season 3. The group dynamics are shifting, people are getting a thick skin.
I absolutely loved the pilot for the Walking Dead but thought the rest of season 1 was garbage and stopped watching after that.
This is a fascinating article on New Orleans and the Lower 9th Ward if anyone has an interest in that. Just felt it was worth posting.
I had the exact same reaction to TWD, but I heard season 2 was really good. Then again, it was from people who really liked season 1. I even like zombie stuff. I just realized midway through the season 2 premier that I literally didn't care if any of the characters died.
