How many GWG he scored in first round, please, remind me?
We all know his story, one game hes there, next 2 invisible, well invisible bit too much said....wouldnt actually mind it but problem is not that he doesnt make his presence felt he tends to F* things up,stupid giveaways, penalties. Same old Zherdev, not national team quality player.
Actually this makes me confident that Tarasenko can be great in NHL too next year, the gap between SKA and Sibir is probably bigger than the gap between SKA and solid NHL teams and if he can find himself among the leaders (and with 2 hattricks) in a team like SKA with the minutes he's getting, he can sure do it in the NHL...
But it works for Riha and Tarasenko himself so at the moment no real need to give him 18 minutes and more, especially in the game they win by 7:1...
Anisin also continues to surprise, one more goal in the play-offs though Moscow Dynamo lost. Although I think Torpedo is a home team first and foremost, they'll lose to Dynamo in away games but I hope for good series.

I've only seen the highlights, but what impressed me most was Zherdev on the equaliser. He made the d-man, was it Vishnevski?, look like a pretty old man.. Great move... and .. it was high stick....

Indeed, Zherdev haters are nowhere to be seen today.
yup all the high end skill that is associated with Zherdev was shown right there, right at a clutch time. I don't care what league that was in, that was precision and skill, just wow.
Have mixed feelings about the other pair. On the one hand Dārziņš is finally playing for AK Bars, he's back and I've been a fan of AK Bars since 2004 I guess but... I'm just sick and tired of AK Bars I guess, if they take their 3rd championship in 4 years it would suck a lot... I guess I just want SKA and Traktor final this year and AK Bars is in the way, of course later on Omsk and Magnitka would be too (I don't see anyone that could potentially stop SKA in the West)
I hate that they traded for Panarin and don't play him. I hope him and Anisin end up back together in Vityaz next year, those two guys were meant to play together.
P.S. What was with the African guys in Kazan today?
Is ''magnitka'' done? They certainly have more chances than Atlant and have already won from being 1-3 behind but now it's Omsk, not Barys they are facing and Cervenka is just killing them and Mozyakin can't do anything about that at the moment. Today 4 points out of 5 Omsk goals scored, 14 pts in 8 play-off games. To Magnitogorsk fans he must be what Anisin was to Minsk Dinamo...
But it would, of course, be cool if they managed to win from 1-3 for the second time in a row. But I'd love to see Omsk going to the conference final or even winning the league this year.

I've seen only the last 20 min, but Magnitka didn't seem to have any clue against Omsk. Well, and that empty netter was just symptomatic: "I'd like to, but don't know how to do it"... See you next season.
I'm very curious about the second game today. If Bars can make it, I think they'll go through, despite Kuznetsov. For how long will Morozov be out?
