+1. Can't stand either Manning in the NFL right now, and frankly am getting tired of seeing Archie on TV too. The Titans will always be the Oilers to me, just in uglier uniforms (and the Oilers uni's were ugly to start with).

Could be interesting. I know Murray State is in Kentucky but there are some Kentucky posters and Murray State fans on here. They could potentially face Marquette and Vanderbilt could face Wisconsin in the next round.

Could be some trouble.

Speaking as someone who has been to many live soccer games, it very much is. Especially if you're new and/or don't really understand what to look for. You also get a better sense of the atmosphere, even in places that sound great on TV like Portland, Seattle, Philadelphia, and D.C.

The Titans are reportedly offering Manning a stake in ownership. I don't see how he can turn that down, honestly. You've got one of the best running backs in the game, got plenty of passing weapons in Britt, Washington, Cook, and CJ out of the backfield (and a club can probably attract another very good WR with him on board), the defense should still be reasonably good, AND you get a slice of the club to keep the money coming after you retire? I guess it really depends on the size of the stake, but I'd take that deal in a heartbeat.

Is that legal under the NFL salary cap?

Probably not, but I would imagine that there are ways around that (e.g., a handshake agreement that Manning will get the ownership stake only after he retires).

And now Belmont learns the hard lesson that guards aren't midgets in the Big East.

The ncaa acts like they seed teams and create matchups strictly based on record but you cant tell me they didn't set up the batlle of Harvard vs "the Harvard of the South" on purpose...

Radulov arrives in NSH the same day as Petyon Manning?

I'm a casual Titans fan, but he surely gives them a better option than Hasselbeck or Locker at this stage. It really is a low risk / high reward. Only risk is Bud's money-- who cares.

If he gets hurt, insert Locker.

You can't blame Bud. If all the reports are true he basically offered Manning everything he could other than his hand in marriage.

Bad news for Tebow, he really is a terrific guy, just not cut out for long-term NFL QB success. I would like to see what he had after a full off-season as the #1 guy, but that won't happen now.

I'm just glad that Peyton is not coming to the Titans. Hasselbeck was very good last season, and now with the staff together for OTA's and training camp, he could really be productive next year. I think Hasselbeck is a better mentor for Locker than Manning anyway, Manning is just so unique with the way he controls an offense that it doesn't translate to any other QB, you'll notice that no young studs have developed behind Peyton...
