Yeah it's not my predictions, just what would be best for us.

I don't really see Edmonton or Anaheim winning.

Sorry, I thought the goal was to get into the playoffs. Oh well, at least they showed Giggy the respect he deserves.... I'm sure he'll thank them for it on the golf course.

There's a lot more the Avs can look at if we're talking about one game causing them to miss the playoffs. That Columbus game a few weeks ago comes to mind...

That shutout loss to Columbus was the worst so far IMO

We looked tired. Glad we got a point out of this one some how. Thanks, Jiggy.

I thought our passing was off tonight. Maybe because of the back to back or maybe just NJ's pressure. Broduer made some good saves when he had to on Jones and Landeskog. Good game by Giggy, we were flat out dominated at times tonight, he kept us in it. Too bad we couldn't get one in OT. Onto New York lets do it.

Yeah. Anaheim has lost a lot of its groove since pretty much being ruled out of making the playoffs. They also haven't done very well against the Kings this year, and with the addition of Carter it makes it that much harder.

Stretching isn't a proper warm up for a goalie that has had his ass planted on the bench for 60 minutes. Jiggy played a solid game and had momentum on his side, Kovy and Parise is one of the best 1-2 punches in the game, you are sadly mistakin if you think the end result would have been any different throwing a goalie in net who hasn't seen a puck all night.

Bravo Jiggy

Big point tonight.
Just seems that shootouts are _not_ Giggy's speciality ^^

Good night!

Why are people acting like if we used Varly we would have won the SO? Parise and Kovalchuk are two of the best in the league and Hejduk/Mueller couldn't score.

It's a silly discussion anyway. No coach in the league would pull a goalie after not allowing a goal in three periods.

I really wish we were the ones with games in hand, even if we were 2-3 points back.

Everyone is potentially 3-5 points up on us.

your thoughts
They just went to a shootout last night against Buffalo in a physical game. Not surprising the Devils were pouring it on compared to the Avs who played last night and had to travel.

I give them credit for making it to OT.

If our captain didn't miss with a wide open net, we wouldn't even be having this stupid Jiggy discussion.

Just like when one goalie gets pulled and the other just hops over the boards, stretches for 30 sec, and plays. Fully warmed up there too.

The good news? We can't be knocked out of 8th tonight.

Possibly tomorrow if Calgary gets 3 points over tonight's game and tomorrow.
