Ah hang in there, one day soon. I'm lucky to share a car with a family member which splits all the cost and puts me as a secondary driver. Looking forward to having my own car in the near future.
Is he any cheaper than going into to any of the places already mentioned? Larger selection? Interesting link, but still don't think it beats the Sens Store/Sportchek.
FWIW, i did a little shopping around.. here's what i found (only called one location per store, not all 50 walmarts, etc):
Sens Store - In stock, $30 each
Sportchek - None in stock
Sport Mart - In stock, $15 each
Sports Experts - None in stock
Canadian Tire - In stock, $19 each
Zellers - Sold out
Wal-Mart - Only Leafs/Habs flags, $14 each
Pro Hockey Life - (not mentioned in this thread, but thought I'd take a visit, and it was well worth it) Only sens flags, $9 each!! (only had about a dozen left when I went)

Wow, why do the prices vary so much? When I got my red car flag a couple years ago when we last made the Playoffs I got it at Zellers for 9.99 and came to 12 bucks with tax or something. Why the hell would they be 30 bucks at the Sens Store? We're talking regular sized car flags here.
And Canadian Tire at 20 bucks? 14-15 is the absolute highest that it should be. You expect to see some places inflate the price a little bit and to see some prices vary, but haha Sens Store and CT are absolutely nuts to charge that much!
just thought I would mention that there are a couple of ads on Kijiji Ottawa for Senators car flags and windsocks.

I really don't get this. So instead of driving to a store and picking one up for 10 bucks, or hell maybe even 12 or 13 bucks, one would go through the hassle of arranging a time to meet someone to pick up the flag, still use the gas to get there just to save a few bucks?

Fixed. The 5x3 banners went up to $29.99, car flags are still $9.99.
