10-1 now

Jo-Jo Reyes is pitching for the Pirates so that means they will blow the 10-1 lead

That's insane, even for a spring training game.

Who finds work first out of J.Vazquez, J.Damon, or R.Oswalt?

Damon is apparently looking for a full-time gig before going through bench options. Haven't heard a peep out of Vaz or Oswalt.

Vazquez could suit up for Miami tomorrow, but he doesn't want to pitch anymore. Damon (Boras?) is probably waiting for a ST injury, and Oswalt seems to be going the Pedro/Clemens route of chilling for half a season.

The Yankees have signed Andy Pettitte to a 1-year minor league deal worth $2.5 million. The team is thrilled to have 240-game winner back.

Hey Yankee fans, is it true that Pineda's velocity is down?

Blue Jays are 12-2

Top 3 starters Romero, Morrow, Cecil have not allowed a run yet in ST

Today Ricky Romero went 4 innings, walked 2, struckout 5 and allowed no hits

I wish Oz would come to the Jays That staff would be so much better with a legit #2/3 even if he is old. I think he's still got enough left as a stop gap for a season or two if the money were right. But it's unlikely he'd even consider Toronto I'm sure

Giancarlo Stanton now dealing with inflamation in one of his knees. And LoMo is still not 100% recovered from his offseason knee surgery.

So in a matter of weeks the Yankees have gone from Sabathia-Nova-Garcia-Hughes-Burnett to Sabathia-Kuroda-Pineda-Nova-Pettitte-Garcia-Hughes.

Not bad, Cashman. Not bad.

I will take your 12-2 and raise you a 10-1 ST so far.

It's still spring training so take it with a grain of salt

That said, Detroit has only lost one game so far and is hitting the cover off the ball

Cozart taking the Indians to the woodshed right now. 2 for 3 with 2 triples and 3 RBI.

He was 94-96 before slumping in 2nd half. Part of that was probably because of a velocity drop. Still way too early to worry about it.
