It's funny how EG always voted against me... Even when I was playing the rebuilding Panthers that somehow made the playoffs.
You are clearly not better than the Penguins, TBH I hate the make up of the Capitals, Ovi is not the same player, Semin wont come up big when it matters, Vokoun is an average to below average starter at this point in his career, Cogliano is not a good 3rd line center, Alzer and Carlson are great but doesnt match up well against Crosby and Malkin, You improved the Caps but the are still not very good.

This makeup is 13-0-3 against the Penguins in the last 4 years lol.
Carlson and Alzner have shut down Malkin all 4 games this season too. Cogliano is a decent 2nd line center at 24. He's fast and has good hands, not a bad 3rd line center at all. Vokoun has been great this year. He always struggled for the first quarter of the season. It's like the 4th year in a row it's happened.

what's there record against them in the playoffs i think you might have left that out for some reason

Okay... They beat us in 7 games 3 years ago because Varlamov **** the bed in games 5 and 7. Ovechkin was the clearcut MVP of the series for both teams.
The Montreal Canadiens's offseason has started a bit early this year but GM drnaud81 kept the golf clubs far away and instead had several discussions with agents.
The organization is proud to announce the re-signing of several of its RFA players.
Lars Eller - $2.500m for 3 years
Alexei Emelin - $1.750m for 3 years
Nick Palmieri - $1.750m for 3 years
Rafael Diaz - $1.250m for 1 year
Ryan White - $1.000m for 1 year
Keaton Ellerby - $1.000m for 2 years

You could say the same about van city and luongo, you can't deny caps have probably been the most underachieving playoff team in the NHL, San Jose is up there but they atleast get past the first two rounds

What? When have i said anything about either of them?
The Penguins organization would like to congratulate the Washington Capitals on their victory. The penguins are disappointed with the outcome because was Stanley Cup or bust for us, and we failed. We are proud of our accomplishments this season, and we will continue to grow and build towards a Stanley Cup winner next season. Good luck to the Preds and Caps in the finals!
In preparation for the draft, the Pens now have 2 mid 20-something range picks and would like to package them in a deal for either a roster player who can help right now, or possibly to move up or down in the draft. PM me.
