Lame Q: Stick Handling on Concrete

I see so many people practicing on concrete, but won't that damage your stick?

Does everyone use the stick they don't use in a game or something? Just wondering because I would like to get a green biscuit instead of using a panel shined with pledge.

Get a stick with an ABS blade. Either a woodie or two piece. They are pretty cheap.

I play with ABS blades because I play outdoor roller. Thankfully my garage floor is very smooth...but I do have one one-piece composite stick and what I did with it is put gorilla tape (duct tape should work too) along the bottom and then tape it normally. If all you're doing is stick handling a little bit of wrist shots, you shouldn't really be tearing up the bottom too much. Slappers though...different story. That I would not recommend.

Definitely use a different stick, preferably ABS.

I have an old shaft with a Vapor XXXX blade in it that just won't break. The bottom is probably 1/8" worn down from the concrete. Crazy.
