New Jets Jersey? (mod - Black Ice jerseys)

I was at the Jet"s store yesterday.
The black jerseys weren't great but if I had the cash to burn I would have bought one.
The St. patty's hats were a really bad design choice. Giving Winnipeg fans the chance to buy a Rider's hat with a Jet logo was a bad idea. Whoever is approving the merch needs a kick in the ass for that one.

I didn't like them. Saw a few at the Dallas game and in the upper bowl with the lights dimmed it was hard to tell it was even a Jets jersey. Doesn't really show your team colours in my opinion.....

But if you just have to be different, I'd rather someone buy that then anything green.

I have always thought that the Caps Jerseys with the roundels on the shoulders are sharper than the Jets jerseys

I like that logo but it was very short-lived. It only survived the inaugural WHA Jets season.

By '73-'74, we had the following logo:



Chipman also said that he is partial towards the WHA Jets jersey -- but as we know -- which one?

The one that simply says 'Jets' or the logo that lasted the longest (1973-1990) as seen above.

...with updated colours from the new jersey (IE: darker blue, darker red, etc) as well as the same size/style striping - ties into the current stuff, AND the old WHA Jets:



Pays homage to both, instantly recognizable as part of the 2.0, and harkens back to 1.0.

Yeah, me neither, but I tried painting them out, and the shoulder colour became overly heavy with nothing on the shoulder. Maybe the new roundel on there?

I'm going to make this prediction right now:

I feel like our next jerseys are going to be either silver or the "secondary" blue we use.

No red, no white. Seems reasonable. I'd prefer we go with silver. Could be interesting if they pick the right color. Could be incredibly bland and boring if they pick the wrong color.

I agree the blue has already been over done a few times by pittsburgh.

How about using this logo with the primary colors switched? (as was on the 80s road jersey).



Might stand out more on a dark coloured jersey like the polar blue you just did up.
