Anyone who went to the game tonight! (Song question)

Does anyone know what the name of the song is that the Isles came out too after the 2nd intermission? All I could make out of it were the naaaaa na na na na, naaaaaa na na na

I realize Na's are in a billion songs so you could understand how hard of a time I'm having finding it right now

If you misheard the 'Woah' as 'Na' then this is a possibility....

Or possibly..

I appreciate the tries guys, but its none of those

There was a chorus part towards the end that kind of sounded like this (just making up lyrics)

I'm coming down, I'm coming down, I'm coming down (down down down down *high pitched chorus)

That's just the sound of us falling in the standings.

You owe me a beer. The garbage I had to listen to from just searching "na na na" and "coming down" in the same search was a bit too much for me.

Could you describe the type of music somewhat?

Google netted me this:
Down In Flames - Relient K
Chris Brown - Diagnosed With Love
Verse Simmonds- Tears Of Joy
Scooter - How Much Is The Fish

Taking the next step towards Youtube made my ears sad.

Mind you, some people might enjoy the above songs. Some were better than others, but none of these are my cup of tea. In fact, my cup of tea is probably more like black coffee.

I am kind of curious how much the fish is though. I stopped after these four. You're on your own until you give me more info. (Edit - I lied.) I hope we aren't participating in a social experiment right now.

Just for fun, I went a few more. Taking some for the team:
Nine Inch Nails - Down In It

More torture: Follow Me Down Lyrics 3OH3 ft. Neon Hitch (****ing songs like this find a way to get in your head anyways. Then for a moment you even find yourself liking it. Then, you realize what you're doing and hate yourself. Unless you're drunk near scantily clad women. I find that greatly improves my enjoyment of certain kinds of music that I'd never listen to while driving.)

I'm not going to lie. I'm slightly addicted to doing this now...(I don't even care how close I am. I'm now addicted to the process. The criteria for my search has long ago left the building.)

Down Down Down - No Tone feat Inusa Dawuda (Radio Edit)

Down - Jay Sean Ft. Lil Wayne [Lyrics]

SHINee - Get Down

the expendables- down down down

Mike Doughty "Put It Down"

Mary J. Blige - I'm Goin' Down

blink-182 - All The Small Things

You know what this has taught me? "Down" and "na" are used in way too many ****ing songs.

Half-assed Google searches brought me these to waste your own time on:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...9173048AAqkweJ
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&c...w=1024&bih=582
http://rolhirst.blogspot.com/2010/12...-na-songs.html

All kidding aside, I think it's safe to say that if you use these lyrics you greatly increase the chances of your song (famous quotable) "sucking ass".

Here's the lyric-less version of what you're looking for:
Richard Wagner - Ride Of The Valkyries

...and finally, the opening lyrics to this song are what I thought of as I got to this point. (...and because I felt like linking it again like I did in another thread. Plus, it'll clear half the other **** out of my brain.)
MASTODON - "Blood and Thunder"

Yup, all of this wasted time from me and still probably not even close to an answer. My futility has been exercised, may your lyrics now be exorcised.

Mitch

Mitch I appreciate the trying, I did the same exact thing when I got home from the game Mind you I was searching on lyrics that I didn't even comprehend while I was at the game so it was pretty much a shot in the dark It sounded like a Rock/Alternative Rock kind of song and I know it is a pretty popular one as I've heard it a number of times before, it would help a lot of we could get someone who was at the game but it's probably been too many days now

There's a phone app that lets you determine a song by recording part of the song

Can you call the arena ops guys and ask them? It's probably sitting in some playlist on some computer there.

And as per the poster above, Shazam is a wonderful app. I've discovered lots of music thanks to that great app.

That's definitely worth a try, but even that guy is limited by the description you can give him on when exactly it was played and other information to help identify the song. I guess he could just e-mail a copy of the playlist for that date. Of course, who knows how easy it is to get into contact with them and how accommodating the customer service will be on your way there?

At worst, go to another home game before the season is up. Be at the ready (with phone + app, or a recording device) and hope they play the song again!

...oh and to the OP, you're welcome. Sometimes I relax just by being a little silly and wasting time. None of the offending songs stuck in my head, so there was no harm done.

Mitch

This thread is pretty entertaining. Do you see the damage you've caused Isles17?

Now you've got me interested too.

I honestly did not even expect people to try this hard, you guys deserve props. I was hoping someone that went to the game would just know what the hell I was talking about, I bet if I found out the song we would all have one of those "OHHHH YEAH THATTTT SONGGGG" moment

And don't forget that guy is probably a 15 year old "intern" working for nothing, who doesn't give a crap.
