I don't see it. His skating isn't that good from what I've seen for his size. He might make it as a injury fill in type NHLer but I can't see him make it as a NHL regular on a playoff team.

Habs are a good team as long as they find some better D.

Keepers are
Gorges
Markov
Subban
Emelin
Diaz is missed right now as he is better than the rest in the lineup.

They need another Dman like Gorges/Emelin who play shutdown defense.

Very strange game...oh man, ummm can we borrow Josh next month? We'll pay for his shin pads, titanium skull plate and orthopaedic surgeon's bill.

Maybe Cammy needed to be dealt but it was a horrible trade yet again by one half of dumb and dumber.
I don't know if he plays smaller than Cammi...thats a stretch. They both suck at this point....so its a wash. But we did get a draft pick.

Sounds like a typical Chris Lee game.

Just saw the Subban hit + fight, keep it up P.K!

Bourque: example #76 the Habs pro scouting department is exceptionally bad at talent evaluation and should all be fired, like 3 years ago.

I'm glad AC is giving credit to Plek and acknowledging how discouraging for him having someone like White as winger. Just sad.

God why do we have to accumulate points with 10 games left and no playoffs hope?

I'm a Cammy fan. I wish we kept him. Since the trade. But he's overpaid. And soft. And we might draft a better version of him this year. For Pleks.

I dont thnk it's possible to be softer than Cammalleri was in his last year.

Not that Bourque is anything special, he's a limited scorer with no motivation, but every forward except for one line has sucked under Cunneyworth.

Plekanec played 27:26 tonight.

The only time you see this kind of icetime for a forward is in playoff overtimes.

Right, that was Bergy, and then he says MaxPac and Cole should stay with DD.
Instead of having a kick start for next year as to what could work, let's keep being so crappy and next year, when the games start counting again, we'll experiment. Smart..

He's less risky than a lot of the backup defenders over the years. He's not a playoff quality starter but I'd trust him over the Picard, Campoli style signings we make every year.

LOL Good point but them not wanting to break up the DD line is a given.

Well those guys are #7/#8 types, not regular D. I can see St-D as one of those sure.

I hate the way the tank is going right now... we really need to push hard for the last straight line in the season

Was Bourque always this soft with Calgary? Or is he afraid to get suspended again, thus the constant stick checks. I can't recall a single hit, other than colliding with White
