Habs prospect Tinordi vs future Habs prospect Galchenyuk?
Should be a good game, can't wait for this too bad it's the same start time as the Habs

Galchenyuk is actually playing?
It's a shame Yakupov was injured.

I didn't see the game but this was posted in the Prospect Thread over on the main board by someone who was in attendance
Galchenyuk saw limited ice time tonight (just over 8min) and only 2min in the third. Most of his shifts were 20-30s and off so don't put too much stock in his production in his first game back. For the most time his time was spent regrouping or retrieving as the Sting were unable to get any movement up the ice going
He was on for three goals against (hence -3) but one was one a bad line change, another as a PP ended and the other was a goalmouth scramble so none were from his defensive flaws. Actually he played well defensively
He saw limited PP time but showed a few flashes of his vision and playmaking skills.
The main thing was that he was skating well with no signs of poor affexts from surgery.
Should be interesting how the sting progress with his icetime over the next few games. I'd expect it could take 5 or so games to knock the rust off
On a side note. Media/scout room was full tonight and EDM had several scouts there.

Cool, thanks for posting. Hopefully he shakes the rust off fast so our scouts can get a good read on him

Watching the game, Tinordi and Subban will make quite the physical duo on the Habs blueline. Once Tinordi gets a year or so in AHL. He can skate and lay out the devastating hits

Oh man, if serious, he will definitely drop in the draft.

I think he will now, especially if he is out for the season. Unless a team is desperate in taking a chance, he will surely drop

So EDM is scouting Galchenyuk after all... makes sense, they wont pick based on needs thats just silly.
Anyways, how did Tinordi look?

I didn't see one second of the game, but I guarantee he was better than Campoli tonight.

A one legged man can kick himself in the buttocks easier than Campoli can play defense.

Regardless of their drafting strategy, you really don't think they'd scout the hell out of any and all top prospects? Come on...
