I am totally pumped. It will make the beer taste that much better tonight.

Not much to complain about. The Kings dominated pretty much every aspect of that game.

It does if the Kings, Rangers, and Wings win tomorrow.

Why is the NHL network teaching me Geometry? Is there anyone that doesn't know what a "radius" is?

Unlike some poster in LGK, I'm pretty sure this is not yet close to Kopi's ceiling. He's still just 24.

I think the sequence where Perry falls on his ass and Doughty/Williams execute that 2 on 1 might be one of my favorites all time. Gold. Someone make a gif please.

The kings are consistently creating havoc in the offensive zone and have seem to have found their game. If they continue this it could be some goods times ahead.

No matter what we DESTROYED the ducks this season. That should make any Kings fan happy.

Also, 83-0-6 when leading after two.

Kopitar was trying score goals tonight as opposed to setting them up. He's at his best as a scorer; not a playmaker. Hopefully he's finally starting to realize that (and the coaching staff as well).

7 shots on goal tonight.

It's not the Kings I'm worried about, it's the Rangers and Wings, who have both been struggling.

I thought it was a goal for sure. Kopitar has entered GodMode

So pumped after this game. I want to hit the town tonight.
Ducks applied so much pressure in the last two periods. It definately was no walk over. It was a good game to win for more reasons than just the two points.
Even though it was just an empty net their is a chance that goal might remove MR's monkey.
Ice looked very average tonight
Kings ficken win!

This further proves too me, it has nothing to do with systems.

And everything to do with Players.

Tippet just dropped the F Bomb on his team the other day cause, they were not playing His system. Carter gives the Kings a balanced attack due to having two scoring lines.

PHX has lost 7 of 9 ? in march........

Yup, shut down the 1st line and the 2nd line will kill you. Shut down the 2nd line, and the 1st will kill you. It's a beautiful thing. But the system has changed.

Phoenix was playing way over their heads during the month of February.

I disagree bud. The system has changed, albeit slightly. Even Sutter has said the defense is now forcing teams wide giving up the outside shot. The Kings are also pressuring up ice and in the neutral zone a hell of a lot more than the previous system.

I do agree, Carter though has really opened things up. It's amazing what 1 player can do for the team.

Except Sutter has been telling everyone that he has changed the system. Both on offense and defense.

The schedule is finally starting to turn into the Kings favor. While it is true that we play some tough teams, we now have games in hand on just about everyone. To top it off, we play SJ back to back for the last 2 games which may decide our destiny. 7-4 from here out puts the Kings at 94 points, which seems to be the consensus for the 8 seed. I see no reason why 8-3 is not achievable, and we are 3 points behind Dallas, who is due to lose a few.

Those last 2 games are going to be intense for both Kings and Sharks fans.

All 3 of my top 3 favorite teams won tonight. Kings, Sens, and Michigan Wolverines. Tonight was perfection. So amazing.

From today:

Quote:
SUTTER: “It’s weighing their percentages and maximizing their skill set. The big thing, since I came here, is to get them out of the methodical game, to where they play more on their toes and, as I said, maximize their ability. Because they all have different skill sets, so maximize them. They have to be part of the group of five that are up the ice. When I came here, it was just three guys. Then you try to get it to four. Then you try to get it to five, and to where there’s not a risk factor, so they can trust each other.’’
He talked about changing the defense too. Keeping shots from the outside. Funneling the offense away from the middle.
