This week is huge with Nashville, San Jose, St Louis, and Boston coming in. I think we really need 3 out of 4 with one of the wins coming against the Sharks. To sweep all 4 would be AMAZING.

Kopitar has such great skills, its sad that you can forget it because his seasons are usually in a state of flux, but tonight it was just sheer offensive lone wolf gunning.

There should be a thread about the kings on nationals. :p i hate all the ******** eastern conference threads

And Voynov has quietly outplayed JJ. I am a Johnson fan, but I think VV is simply better. He's not as polished, but he's making great reads and this is his first year.

He reminds me a lot of Timonen, but with a little less skill and better against bigger opposing forwards.

Kopitar's goal the kind of goal I score in the video game. Off the post and in Sick goal!

We're still in striking distance of the Division title. Just 3 points out with a game in hand.

7 shots on goal tonight.
His goal was a frickin' laser beam!!!

Kopitar had an edge tonight, a vendetta. And actually for the last few games as well.

You have to admit, both Brown and Kopi have been on warpaths since being called out.

makes me wonder where we could have been this whole time if TM had called them out instead of protecting them

It really takes a certain persona to make a human work harder while personally humiliating them. Sutter is a straight shooter.
My belief is Murray would have caused greater dissention

I don't think that Sutter has so much changed the system as such however, I believe he has personally tapped into the players abilities a bit more. Essentially, so much structure under Murray took away from the freedom of a players talents but Sutter wants the player to respect the system while at the same time respecting the players abilities and talents.
Under both coaches, we are very very responsible, However, the back end confidence in moving with the forwards is so visible under Sutter.
As we the fans may not like Sutter's media communicating, he is doing it right where it counts.
Carter Richards as a 2nd unit really throws a wrench into opponents defense. Consequently, this helps Kopitars line.
Go Kings. Start Bernier tomorrow!

Definitely. Loved it. Didn't even hear the boos to balance it out or a Go Ducks Go chant to drown it out. We overpowered their fans and I love it. I know they have nothing to really play for other than pride and that it's tough to commit yourself to games in that scenario, but I'm proud of our fans for going there and getting loud.

You're awesome. I'm watching the game again too!

That said, Fox's comment about Penner coming off the books next season was spot on.

oh man, id be happy with getting 2 wins from that tbh. Nashville and St Louis are both elite teams, so winning those will be very tough, especially Nashville tomorrow on the 2nd of a back to back
